Slayed Refunds

Adult memberships are sold on terms that make refunds the exception rather than the rule, and Slayed is no different. That does not mean asking is pointless — it means the ask has to be framed correctly, and the framing that works is almost never the one people try first.

The Slayed position

Structural errors are reversible: two mandates from one checkout, or a rebill after a confirmed cancellation. Unused time is not.

What is normally refundable

Unused time on a term you have already paid for is normally not refunded — you keep the access instead. What genuinely does get refunded is a charge that should not have happened: a duplicate membership, a trial that converted after you cancelled, a rebill on an account you closed, or a term renewed with no notice. Those are billing errors, and billing errors get reversed.

How to ask so it works

Write to the payment processor named on your statement rather than to the site, and lead with the facts: the date, the amount, the descriptor, and the specific reason the charge should not exist. Ask for a refund of that charge and cancellation of the mandate in the same message. Do not argue about value for money, because value is not a ground anyone will act on; argue that the charge was not authorised by anything you agreed to.

The card-issuer route

If the merchant and the processor both refuse, your card issuer is the last resort and a real one. A disputed transaction with a dated cancellation confirmation behind it is usually resolved in the cardholder's favour, and the issuer can block the merchant from charging the card again. Two warnings: raise it with the merchant first or the bank will push it back, and expect the account to be closed either way.
