Do not argue about value for money, because value is not a ground anyone will act on; argue that the charge was not authorised by anything you agreed to.

The card-issuer route

If the merchant and the processor both refuse, your card issuer is the last resort and a real one. A disputed transaction with a dated cancellation confirmation behind it is usually resolved in the cardholder's favour, and the issuer can block the merchant from charging the card again. Two warnings: raise it with the merchant first or the bank will push it back, and expect the account to be closed either way.
